SC 01 · Company

Technology informed by the set

SHOOTR is a team whose founder and team members all studied film directing. We use technology to solve problems we encounter while planning and shooting together, then test the results in production.

  1. AI video creation tools

    We build software that helps people finish videos without learning a conventional editor. Our projects include an interview-editing app and an AI video production pipeline.

  2. Video and content production

    We run the web-drama channel WAZAK and plan, shoot and edit our own videos. Our productions are the first testing ground for the technology we build.

  3. LED classroom-set studio

    We operate After-School Classroom Studio, where an LED screen changes the view beyond the windows. We produce our own content here and rent the space to crews making commercials, web content and short films.

An LED view beyond
the classroom windows

After-School Classroom Studio 방과후교실 스튜디오

A classroom-concept shooting studio in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. We produce SHOOTR's own content here and rent the space to crews making commercials, web content and short films that need a classroom scene.

Our research into new production technology led us to install an LED screen behind the windows, letting crews switch between views such as the sea or sunset during a shoot. The window wall in front of the screen is movable, allowing lighting setups from outside the classroom.

make videos

Video creation software in development at SHOOTR. These projects are not yet on sale or publicly distributed, and features and names may change.

Interview videos without timeline editing

An attempt to help seniors who cannot use timeline-based editors finish an interview video. Open a folder of footage and photos to generate a first edit through speech recognition and analysis, then compare the original with the edited version and choose what to keep.

  • Automatic speech recognition, interview analysis and loudness normalization
  • Compare proposed edits with the original and select them with a button
  • Photo placement and alternative photo suggestions that follow the story

NOWThe founder's mother is already using the app to make real interview videos. It remains private and has not been distributed externally. We plan to refine its distribution setup so other people can use it too.

Connecting planning to finished video with AI

Brings planning, synopses, scripts, scene images, narration, review and partial revisions into one production workflow. The first application is roughly 80-minute story videos; we plan to extend the same structure to other video formats.

  • Review and regenerate one block of scenes without redoing the rest
  • Generation cost tracked per title

NOWPlanning screens and server are implemented and in testing; the video generation stages are being designed.

Creating tools for everyone.

Our next step connects the production experience of our film-directing team with AI technology. These are the plans we are developing together, rather than released productions or products.
